Murphey Candler Park Marlins

• 5:30-6:15 pm: 6 and under and beginner 7-8 year olds
• 6:15 - 7:00 pm: 7-8 year olds and beginner 9-10+ year olds
• 7:00 - 8:00 pm: Advanced 9-10 year olds and 11+ year olds

MEETS:

• Most meets will be held on Tuesday evenings either at home or at various local pools in Brookhaven or Dunwoody.
• The official meet schedule with locations will be available in April. (Our last meet will be held on Monday, 6/24. The ASA Divisional meet will be either 6/26 or 6/27).
  
  • Warm-ups at 4:30 pm
  • Start time: 5:30 pm
• Additional meets (tentative dates)
  
  • June 22, SATURDAY - Warmup 7:15am Start Time 9:00am (Saturday, GRPA District Meet, Briarwood Pool)
  • June 26 or 27 (Wednesday or Thursday, ASA Divisional Meet at Georgia Tech)
  • July 19 or 20 (Friday or Saturday for swimmers who qualify for the GRPA State Meet, location TBD)

REQUIREMENTS

• All swimmers must be at least 5 years of age (ages 5-18) and be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted.
• For us to host and run meets smoothly, parent volunteering is mandatory.

  • Swimsuit for practices, team suit for meets.
  • Goggles
  • Fins 
  • You can order your team suits, goggles, and fins from the Murphey Candler Park Marlins' Swim Outlet store.
• Willingness to have fun and be a part of a wonderful team.

COST:

There is a registration fee of $125 and a $40 ASA membership fee, for a total of $165.

• The $125 registration fee covers the cost of coaching, pool use for practices and meets, a team swim cap and team shirt.
• The $40 ASA membership fee is the league fee which pays for the opportunity to compete with more teams, participate in the Championships held at Georgia Tech, and for the use of the Swimtopia website. *Please note this membership fee, required by the ASA will incur late fees (up to an additional $25) if paid after 4/16.

REGISTRATION:

• Registration will open Monday, March 18, 2024.
• Please register early as space will be limited and ASA late fees will apply.
• The ASA fees will increase on April 16. However, the main registration fee of $125 will remain the same.

Last day to register is May 3. (We will close registration when we reach full capacity.)
