Information regarding tomorrow's meet:

Please arrive by 4:30pm (especially if you need assist with marking your child), our warm ups begin at 5pm. Meet starts promptly at 5:30pm. Come in your team suit, arms marked, and bring your goggles and towel. Bring chairs or blankets to sit on.

Important Parking and Drop-Off Information:

The parking lot isn't large, so most parents will need to park on the street. We can only park on one side of the road and will have signs up reminding everyone of this as well. Please don't block driveways or mailboxes!

Weather Information Hopefully, we have good weather, but if it does storm, many will need to wait in cars as we don't have a lot of covered areas (not enough for all). Our make-up day is usually Wednesdays just in case.

Meet Information

• We will have concessions with Chick-fil-A, pizza, candy, chips, and drinks. Please bring cash (small bills) and we also take Venmo (will have the info at concessions for Venmo).
• Our warm-ups will be at 5:00. Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes earlier and mark your swimmers. See instructions below. If this is your first time, feel free to come earlier and we will assist you.
• Our bullpen will be on the left side of the pool as you walk in. There is a grassy area and a wooden deck. Please bring your own chairs or blankets.
• We are doing NEON theme for the meet, so let your team know to wear their best/favorite neon accessories!

Pool Location:  1000 Byrnwyck Rd, Brookhaven, GA 30319. 

Parking 

Please park on the neighborhood streets as the parking lot will be extremely limited-- just remember to follow the "no parking" signs and park only on the right hand side of the street and do not block driveways.

Bullpen

Marlins bullpen will be located on the far side of our pool next to the baby pool.

Meet Logistics

Byrnwyck has a 6-lane 25 meter pool. Marlins will race in lanes 1, 3, and 5 and warmup at 5 pm. The first race will be at 5:30 pm. 

Concessions

Byrnwyck will have a full concession stand available that night including chick-fil-a sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken, chips, drinks, and candy. We take cash only. Please bring small bills if possible.

We are excited you will be participating in the GRPA District Meet this Saturday, at the Briarwood Pool. 1511 Briarwood Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.

The final heat sheet for the meet as well as an entry list with heat and lane information is on the website. A total of 4 teams will be competing (Brookhaven, Dekalb, Henry County and Tucker). Our Brookhaven team consists of 54 swimmers; 18 are from the Marlins.

• Please print your own heat sheets and entry lists.
• On the cover of the heat sheet is a warmup schedule. (Brookhaven warmups start at 7:50am)
• We need a total of 6 volunteers from the Marlins in order to make this meet work. Volunteers should be available at the timing tent no later than 8:30 am for a meeting. Ayana with Brookhaven will help get them pointed in the right direction
• We were able to combine a number of events to speed things along, please make sure your swimmers report for their events in a timely fashion for those events. Swimmers are pre-slotted into lanes to make the combined events work. A summary of those events is below and is noted in the pdf version of the heat sheet.

Entries

All swimmers can swim 2 individual and 2 relay events. Swimmers will have the option to choose which individual events they want to swim. Coaches will determine the relays. 

Parking - All Vehicles Must Pay to Park

Vehicles up to a 15-passenger van may park in the W10 CRC Lot located Adjacent to the CRC at 750 This is a prepaid lot only, Ferst Dr. you cannot pay at the gate. The cost $12 go to https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events (Choose the June 28 Wednesday - 2023 ASA Championships Day 1: Afternoon session, – 1:30pm option)

You cannot buy spots for this lot at the gate.

Overflow parking for W10 and any day of parking for those who did not prepay is located at the W23 lot at 905 State St. on Wednesdays. These are relatively short walks from the pool.
