Dear Marlins Family,

Update regarding ASA Championships at GA Tech

We know it has been difficult trying to decide whether your child can attend the ASA Championships given the span of possible dates. We respect your time and schedule. We contacted the ASA Coordinator for a more specific timeframe. He told us that the Murphey Candler Marlins Team will most likely attend the Saturday, 6/26 swim session. Please check your availability and RSVP with the Saturday, 6/26 date in mind. In addition, there is no age restriction and all our current swimmers qualify for the ASA Championships. We hope this helps with your planning.

Rainout Line

The Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Department’s new Rainout Line number is 470-704-4774. Please call this number to stay up to date with with any weather related delays or cancellations.

They also have a free app you may download, RainoutLine.com - search for Brookhaven Parks and Recreation. When it appears click the star on the right side of the page and you are all set. There are many other ways for you to get the updated status. Subscribe to Email and Text alerts or follow Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Department on Facebook.

Website - Heat Sheets and Meet Results, Photos

We have updated our website to make finding heat sheets and meet results easier! All future heat sheets and meet results will be posted  here. They will also be emailed to you.

If you have any photos you would like to share on the website of your swimmers, we'd love to post them! Email them to [email protected].

RSVP to Meets

We have enabled parents to RSVP for future meets on the website. If you know your schedule, please RSVP to all the meets ahead of time to avoid missing the deadline (“meet entry”).

Rain delays/cancellations and updates

Your time is important to us! Especially with upcoming rain and thunderstorm predictions, please join our Remind group for team updates, weather delays, text @mcpmarlins to 81010. This allows you to stay up to date with any last minute practice changes. We will try to send out practice cancellations at least 30 minutes prior to practice.

Other ways we notify you of any changes is via our Facebook page, emails, and the website news.
