Just a reminder for swimmers who are attending the GRPA District Meet:

GRPA District Meet Details

• FRIDAY, July 9: 11 & over
  • Arrive at 3:45pm, The City of Brookhaven team (Briarwood, Hampton Hall & Murphey Candler) will warmup at 4:00pm, Start 5:30pm.

• SATURDAY, July 10: 10 & under
  • Arrive at 7:45am, Warm-up 8:00am, Start 9:30am.

• Location: Briarwood Pool, 2235 Briarwood Way NE, Atlanta, GA 30329; spectators allowed.
  • PARKING: Please allow extra time for parking. If parking is full on Briarwood Park Road, there should be street parking on Briarwood Road adjacent to the park.
  • SET-UP: All teams will be able to set up in the gym adjacent to the outdoor pool. Look for the Briarwood Barracudas and/or Murphey Candler Marlins tents as that will be our designated team area. We ask that swimmers please dry off before entering building. Families can set up chairs near their team areas inside the gym while waiting to watch events. Spectators are welcome to watch the races from the pool deck, but please be courteous to the other spectators that would like to watch their kids and give space. No tents on pool deck. Please DO NOT set up in the parking lot. The lot is small and can only accommodate the cars.
• Concessions - There will be assorted chips/cookies/dry snacks, water, and Powerade. Chick-fil-A sandwiches available Friday night, and Chick-fil-A biscuit sandwiches will be available on Saturday morning. Payment will be cash or Venmo to @briarwoodswim. You can scan the QR code at checkout to pay. Separately, King of Pops will be selling popsicles at the meet on Friday evening.
• VOLUNTEERS - persons volunteering should be onsite and available for any info/meetings by 4:45pm for Friday and 8:45am for Saturday.

• Please make sure your child wears their team swim suit, swim cap and team tee & remember to mark your swimmers! See the attached Heat Sheets (also posted on website). We encourage you to print your own Heat sheets at home- they will also be available for purchase at the meet.
