Dear Marlins Family

Our meet is tomorrow, Tuesday, June, 7 at Briarwood Recreation Center (2235 Briarwood Way NE, Atlanta, GA 30329). Please remember to sign up here to volunteer. We need parents to volunteer for at least 3 meets in order for the meets to run smoothly! If you are new to volunteering, timers and ribbon writers are great for beginners!

Things to know:

4:30pm: Please arrive by 4:30pm for set up and to mark your swimmers.

5pm: MC Marlins team warm-ups start at 5:00pm.

5:30pm: Meet Start Time

Location: Briarwood Recreation Center (2235 Briarwood Way NE, Atlanta, GA 30329).

Seating:

• Parents SHOULD NOT SIT behind the blocks. 
• Please remind your kids that they MAY NOT be in the splash pad while the meet is going on. 
• Parents should bring chairs to sit in.

Concessions: They will have concessions, only venmo will be accepted.

Please see attached for Heat Sheets and the Athlete Entries. This will also be posted under "files" on the website.

Please refer to the Athlete Entries sheet to mark your child's arm or arrive early (by 4:30pm) if you need assistance with marking your swimmer. Your child will be listed alphabetically with all their events under their name. Please see below for an example of how you should mark your swimmer’s arm:

#6 4/4 50 Free (#6=Event, 4/4= Heat/Lane, Stroke)

#12 3/5 50 Back

#16 4/8 100 Fly

Would be marked like this:

E= Event

H/L = Heat/Lane

Stroke

If your child is on a relay, you will see which leg they swim in parenthesis:

#7 1/3 100yd Medley Relay A (1-Back)

This means they are in Event 7, Heat 1, Lane 3 and will swim the 1^st leg of the medley relay (back)
