Thank you for RSVPing to tomorrow's swim meet! Due to the high heat index, Vermack will host tomorrow’s swim meet. Since they have more shade than Murphey Candler, we have decided to have the meet there. Please see details below. We will send out heat sheets and athlete sheets tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience in the change of location. The health and comfort of our swimmers and parents during this unbearable heat is our priority.

Murphey Candler Swim MEET AT VERMACK

Tuesday, June 21

Arrival time: 4:30pm

Warm-ups: 5:00pm

Start time: 5:30pm

Location: Vermack Swim and Tennis Club 4756 Vermack Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338

Parking

• They have a parking lot and street parking, but please park on only one side of the street and do not park on the grass.

Pool/Seating

• They have a 5-lane pool and use 4 lanes as scoring lanes.
• Swimmers in lane 5 are exhibition swimmers.
• We will be set up on the right side of our pool, which is shaded, so tents will not be necessary. We have tables with umbrellas and teams typically use a table per age group for bullpens.

Concessions

• Chick-fil-A sandwiches and nuggets for meals, as well as chips, candy, sports drinks, and water.
• Venmo is preferred, but they can also accept cash for those who bring smaller bills.

Volunteers

• We need volunteers! Please sign up, especially families who have not volunteered thus far! We need volunteers to make this meet run efficiently and to finish at a decent hour.
