Dear Marlins Family,

For those that were able to attend the District Meet:

Just a quick follow up regarding the GRPA State Meet scheduled for July 22nd & 23rd. If your child placed in the top three at the District Meet for their individual and/or relay events, that qualifies them to swim at the State Meet. Those results were posted on the wall at the District Meet on June 18th. 

The State meet will be seeded by the middle of next week and sent to the coaches for input on any respective scratches. Most of the kids from Murphey Candler, if not all that participated in the District Meet (and that qualified for State) stated they were available to swim at the State Meet.

We will have the "official" official word next week but I just wanted to send that for clarification. If anything has changed and your child can no longer attend/swim at the State Meet (July 22 [10 and under], July 23 [11 and over]), please let us know ASAP as these could affect relays.
