Registration for the 2023 Murphey Candler Marlins Swim Team is now OPEN!

A registration fee of $125 and a $37.50 ASA membership fee brings our total registration fee to $162.50. *Please register early - the ASA fee will increase on April 16.

• The $125 registration fee covers the cost of coaching, pool use for practices and meets, swim cap and team shirt.
• The $37.50 ASA membership fee is the league fee which pays for the opportunity to compete with more teams, participate in the Championships at Georgia Tech, and for the use of the Swimtopia website. Being a part of the ASA offers increased competition and allows the MC Marlins to compete against more swim teams. As experienced last year, the variety of teams and swimmers was a nice change. Meets will be held in the Brookhaven/Dunwoody area. The season will culminate with swimmers participating in the ASA Championship at Georgia Tech.

The Murphey Candler Marlins 2023 Swim Season will run from May 15 - June 30.

Practices will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.

• 8 and under: 5:45 pm - 6:45 pm
• 9 and over: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• May 15, 17, 18
• May 22, 24, 25
• May 29 (holiday - no practice), May 31, June 1
• June 5, 7, 8
• June 12, 14, 15
• June 19, 21, 22
• End of year party TBD –the last week of June.

Meets will be on Tuesday evenings either at home or local pools (Brookhaven/Dunwoody area). The official meet schedule with locations will be available in April.

Other Meets

• June 24, Saturday- The GRPA District at Briarwood.
• June 28 or June 29, Wednesday or Thursday (Tentative dates)- ASA Divisional at Georgia Tech
• July 14 & July 15, Friday & Saturday- The GRPA State meet (for qualifying swimmers) will be held on July 14 (ages 10 and under) & July 15 (ages 11 and over) in Columbus, GA.

For us to host and run meets smoothly, parent volunteering is mandatory.

Please register early as space will be limited.

What you need: Team suit, goggles, fins, and a great attitude!

Optional: Spring Tune up sessions- Dynamo Swim Club is offering Spring 2023 stroke clinics for $40 per hour session. (see attached flyer)
