GRPA District Meet, Saturday, July 1st - The deadline for entry is this Saturday, June 24th.
Swimmers must be 7 years old before June 1 in order to participate.
Your coaches highly recommend that your swimmer attend this district meet. It will give him/her an opportunity to experience a “real meet”. Carpools can be arranged if needed.
The deadline for entry is this Saturday, June 24th. We need to know if your swimmer will be attending and we require a birth certificate or valid passport for Brookhaven Parks and Rec to verify your child’s age.*** Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate this Saturday. It will be destroyed (or returned to you if desired) after the county verifies.
The meet is held in Madison, GA Directions to Facility (Morgan County Aquatic Center, 1151 East Ave Madison, GA 30650)
You must swim at the District meet in order to qualify for the State meet (held in Cumming, GA on July 22nd for 10 & under, and July 23rd for 11 & over.)
Swimmers will be entered in a maximum of 2 individual events and 2 relays.

Bat and Ball sponsored Lunch this Saturday, June 24th after our swim meet
Bat and Ball (at the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Ashford Dunwoody) provided our team with $250 sponsorship and has invited us for a cookout of hotdogs and hamburgers after our swim meet on Saturday. Adult beverages are for purchase. Let’s support Bat and Ball by stopping by for some lunch and raising a glass to cheer the MCP Marlins! Wear your new tshirts!
RSVP for Saturday’s swim meet at Murphey Candler Park Pool. 8:15 arrival. Please look up your child’s events on-line on Friday evening or Saturday morningand mark your child prior to warm-ups.
Any deck entered swimmers will be worked into heats as best as we can. Times are not guaranteed. Relay participation is not guaranteed. Please RSVP!
